After just three days of snake videos,Lisa Ann - Sexual Intrigue (2008) we now know for certain: Taylor Swift is back. But before the Wednesday announcement in which Swift revealed her new album cover, a few fans had already figured it out, thanks to a little web hunting.
According to Select All, after fumbling around with the URL of Swift's official website, taylorswift.com, a fan uncovered a glitch that revealed album details, including its title (Reputation), cover art, number of tracks, and length of the album's first single.

The leaked information was posted to celebrity fan forum ATRL.net ahead of Swift's official announcement. The forum's thread has since been deleted.
(We've reached out to Swift's publicist regarding whether or not the uncovered glitch impacted the timing of her album announcement.)
As news of Swift's new album announcement spread across the web, Twitter offered a little insight into the most-used emojis in tweets about the artist published since Friday.

Notably, the influx of snake emojis most likely refer to Swift's very public 2016 clash with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West-- remember Kim's infamous National Snake Day tweet?
Judging from the snake videos Swift's employed to tease her new album, it seems she's repurposed the symbol for something bigger. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next.
