Just a few weeks ago, Musk said the company has sold $300,000 worth of hats, meaning the sales have roughly doubled since that time.

As people scramble to buy these boring hats, Musk is certainly having himself a good time. Besides making an outrageous amount of boring puns, he also changed his Twitter bio to "Hat Salesman," as you can see in the screenshot below.
Musk (jokingly?) says The Boring Company will start selling a branded flamethrower next. The way hat sales are going, it would probably sell like crazy, too.
