A driver crashed their car into the entrance signs at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, on Sunday morning, leaving a huge hole where the word "university" once was. The driver, who also happened to be a student at the college was not seriously injured in the crash, KRCR reports.

After the incident, some students took photos with the huge hole.

But since it's Halloween, one student was able to incorporate the driving mishap into his Halloween costume by dressing up as the Kool-Aid Man.

Then on Monday, a photo emerged on Reddit showing the sign decked out with spooky cobwebs for Halloween.

It's not clear if some crafty students dressed up the sign, or if the college officials decided to get into the spirit of Halloween.
Humboldt State University was not immediately available for comment.
