Luca Guadagnino has come a long way from Call Me By Your Name. His newest project,four cornerstones of eroticism a remake of 1977's witch-horror movie Suspiria, recently premiered at the Venice Film Festival to...somewhat mixed reviews.

Reviewers say that while the movie is stylish and Guadagnino's directorial eye is strong, the thematic additions he layered onto the original's more straightforward horror plot worked for some people and turned others off.

It's not scary, but the spooky tone is well done
