Warren Buffett totally loves Jeff Bezos.
"Jeff Bezos,Writer's Bullpen (2009) I do think, is the most remarkable businessperson of our age. I've said that before," Buffett said in an interview with CNBC Friday.
Buffett, the founder and CEO of the investment firm and conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway, praised Amazon founder Bezos for his success in two industries at once.
Amazon runs regular Amazon, where you can get books and diapers shipped to your house. But the company also runs Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing arm that makes most of its money.
"I’ve never seen a guy succeed in two businesses almost simultaneously that are quite divergent in terms of customers and all the operations," Buffett said.
"To succeed in two different big businesses in a huge way is really — I can’t think of another example like it," Buffett added.
Buffett is ranked as the world's second richest man with a net worth of $75.6 billion, according to Forbes. Bezos is right behind him in the third slot with an estimated $72.8 billion. (Bill Gates is first with $86 billion.)
