At the Golden Globes Sunday, Once Upon a Time... in Hollywoodwon Best Motion Picture — Comedy, while 1917claimed Best Motion Picture — Drama.
Once Upon a Time... in Hollywoodbeat out Dolemite Is My Name, Jojo Rabbit, Knives Out, and Rocketmanfor the honor. Earlier in the evening, the film also nabbed Best Supporting Actor for Brad Pitt and Best Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Tarantino had been nominated in the Best Actor and Best Director categories, but lost to Rocketman's Taron Egerton and 1917's Sam Mendes, respectively.
1917 was up against The Irishman, Joker, Marriage Story, and The Two Popesfor the Best Picture prize. The film was additionally nominated for Best Original Score but did not win.
