In the wake of Hurricane Harvey,Semi-dokyumento: Tokkun Meiki Dukuri Queen Bey came home to Houston.
The singer visited St. Johns United Methodist Church -- the same church she attended as a child -- to meet with Harvey survivors and give a speech to those assembled.
Blue Ivy; Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams; Beyoncé's mother, Tina Lawson; and other members of her BEYGOOD charity team accompanied her on the trip.
Per E!, Beyoncé was understandably emotional during her speech, during which she celebrated Houston's resilience.

"This today is a celebration of survival," she said. "Y'all are my family. Houston is my home, and I thank God that y'all are safe, that your children are safe. What really matters is your family, your health, your children, and your life, and I just want to say I love you."
Pastor Rudy Rasmus told E! that Bey also made a "substantial donation" to hurricane relief efforts just before her appearance.
She'll also appear during the Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief telethon on Sept. 12.
