It's hard to make being trapped on Watch Xena xxx porn parody part 2 (2012)a delayed airplane less miserable.
However, a free concert doesn't hurt.
When a flight out of Chicago's O'Hare Airport was delayed for six terrible hours, passengers luckily had the Haitian band Lakou Mizik on board to entertain them with some uplifting songs.
Lakou Mizik is a multigenerational Haitian collective of musicians that formed after the tragic 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
According to their Facebook page, Lakou Mizik blends "Troubadou, Vodou, Rara and Rap into a deeply danceable bouyon of modern roots music."
Their mission is, "to honor the healing spirit of their collective culture and communicate a message of pride, strength and hope to their countrymen and the world."
In just a few minutes, Lakou Mizik was able to communicate a message of "this plane will eventually take off" to the exhausted passengers.
When the band finished their song, the passengers erupted into applause, and some even gave a standing ovation.
Can airports please start having house bands for situations like this?
