Hinting at the depositions well before they occur is the type of foreshadowing your 9th grade English teacher would be proud of you for catching.

The music on 13 Reasons Whyis highly significant, and the show's team was careful in choosing each song.

"Music was a huge part of it for me," Dylan Minnette told Popsugar prior to the series' premiere. "I had a dialogue with Brian [Yorkey] from the get-go about what songs should be on the soundtrack. I love that he was so open and it was very much a collaboration."
