When a Draw 4 card is put down, Uno's rules state that the next person must pick up four cards, and their turn is skipped. There is no drowning of people in cards, despite how fun it is to do so.
The rule clarification, understandably, prompted plenty of thoughts.

And no, you can't stack Draw 2 or Draw 4 cards on each other, either, even though that's not what Uno's own rules state (on Draw 2 cards at least).
