Stephen Colbert's predictable Donald Trump jokes at the 69th Emmy Awards didn't stop Sean Spicer from stepping into enemy territory Sunday night.

"I can understand why you would want one of these guys around," Colbert said. "Melissa McCarthy, ladies and gentleman!" he joked.

McCarthy, who famously played Spicer on SNL, was visibly shocked at the sight of Trump's former right-hand man.

So were other actresses in the audience, like Modern Family's Sarah Hyland.

And everyone watching at home immediately took to Twitter to share their shock, disgust and disbelief at the moment.
