“Ultimately," Groening — who's executive producing the show with Josh Weinstein — told Netflix, "Disenchantmentwill be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you."
Sounds very relatable, dude.
In their daily adventures, the unexpected trio will encounter their fair share of obstacles, ranging from "ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools."
Voiceovers for the three main characters will be done by comedians and actors Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon, and Eric Andre, and animation is being created by Futurama'sRough Draft Studios.
