Donald Trump's campaign was all about "making America great again" but Watch Lost Bullet Onlinewhen it came time for a college slideshow presentation they found someone across the world.
Through Fiverr, an online market place for digital services, a teen in Singapore scored a gig making a Prezi slideshow video for a Trump campaign effort at college campuses.
It took 15-year-old Hrithie Menon less than a day to made a quick digital presentation for the campaign as part of a side job she offers on the site Fiverr, her father Haridas Menon wrote Friday in an email to Mashable.
Her motivation was not at all political, her father said. She just wanted to pay on her own for dental braces, which her dad said aren't cheap in Singapore.
Back in August when Trump was still duking it out with a huge list of GOP presidential contenders his campaign found Hrithie on Fiverr. The Trump slideshow project, which her father confirmed was completed in a day, was used as part of Trump's "Students for Trump" campaign to attract younger voters.
Hrithie's Fiverr gig page apparently caught the eye of campaign staffers. It states, "I will turn your PowerPoint into a Prezi and make it into a video." She lists prices starting at $10 with a $15 expedited delivery fee, but Today reported for projects like the Trump one she usually charges around $100. She told the Singapore newspaper Todayit took her two hours to make.
Her Fiverr page shows her past work and refers interested clients to a YouTube video (posted by her father) about her digital marketing services.
The best part? In a video interview with Today, Hrithie said she didn't really know who Donald Trump was when she put together the slides. But following last week's election results, she said in the interview, "I feel like I played a part in actually helping Trump win."
Let's not forget Trump himself is all about keeping jobs in America.
We must stop outsourcing our jobs overseas and end our multi-billion dollar trade deficits.
