This mom couldn't get enough of Beychella.
Beyoncé's Coachella performance on Dear Utol (2025): Totoy Bayo Episode 38Saturday night was incredible. With a staggering 26 song set, costume changes, cameos by Jay-Z, Solange, and Destiny's Child -- all flawlessly livestreamed for the entire two hour set. It's obvious why the festival was dubbed Beychella. This is the kind of performance that'll be studied in history classes 50 years from now.

In the texts live updating her daughter on Bey's performance, Natalie's mom gushes, "When she smiles, she's SO BEAUTIFUL! And when she gives that mad look, I'm scared! I hope she beat up Jay z!"
She was referring to Jay Z's affair, which was discussed in Beyoncé's 2016 album Lemonadeand his 2017 album 4:44.
As hyped as she was, Natalie's mother was still reserved about Beyoncé's provocative choreography and risqué outfits. "Her voice is amazing but her shorts are a little small," she texted, "She has a lot of naughty moves that make me uncomfortable lol."

Her mother couldn't help but be ecstatic during the set. She was so pumped when it was done that she had to take Zzzquil to fall asleep.
"I didn't know how to feel bc I was so overwhelmed THE WHOLE TIME," she ranted, "I may never be the same!!"
And the talk of women's empowerment, particularly when Beyoncé called out Jay-Z, got Natalie's mother riled up. She couldn't believe that we were blessed with such a breathtaking performance -- for free.
If you've ever wondered about the awe-inspiring powers of Queen Bey, read Natalie's mother's exuberant review of the concert.
Via Giphy"I felt like that women in the Ikea commercial where she screams "start the car" & she's screaming w her hands in the air as they're driving away, bc she thinks she's stealing. That was me!!" I kept thinking Youtube was going to shut off my live feed and make me pay. I just kept wondering why i was so lucky to get to watch her for free, i was so confused. Omg there were so many emotions watching her perform!! ... i would watch it again in a heartbeat & I'm guessing i would like it even better the 2nd time!! And I absolutely LOVED how humble she was to the audience as she kept thanking them. She's such a class act!"
"IT WAS PERFECTION!" she said, in disbelief that her daughter had the audacity to sleep through such a historic moment in music.
After about four pages' worth of screenshotted texts, Natalie finally responded with "alright i gotta find it online."

"You don't even know! Thank God i made it through the night! I finally fell asleep," her mother concluded, "My head was spinning! I am so dramatic."
Bottom line: Don't ever doubt the power of Beyoncé's music.
