Geely Auto has unveiled a new brand for intelligent driving,TV Series Archives saying an advanced driver assistance system will be integrated into all future models of its various vehicle lineups, rather than allowing Galaxy, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co to make their own solutions. The move is the latest development in a restructuring effort aimed at streamlining Geely’s operations and cutting costs, and is largely seen as a response to BYD’s announcement last month that all its upcoming models will feature its proprietary assisted driving technology with no price increase. The so-called G-Pilot ADAS will come with five variants and all could allow vehicles to complete driving tasks autonomously on Chinese highways and park themselves without human interventation, the company announced at a press event on Monday. Meanwhile, the top-end version of the system, called the G-Pilot H9, will be powered by two NVIDIA DRIVE Thor centralized car computers, providing 1,000 TOPS of performance and making it capable of creating “door-to-door” Level 3 semi-autonomous driving experiences in the country.
