There are The Intern - A Summer of Lustvery few situations where the phrases "Disney Princess" and "Westworld" can be in the same sentence, but a casting choice from the eighth episode of WestworldSeason 2 brought the two together in a very literal way. Irene Bedard, the voice of Disney's Pocahontas, turned up as a host in the park.
SEE ALSO: Everything you need to know about Shogun World, the badass samurai park from 'Westworld'Bedard played Wichapi, a Ghost Nation mother whose son was lost to the "ones that live below." When Akecheta returns from his first death, he brings Wichapi her son's braid as proof that his body is in host storage, further bringing the Ghost Nation around to the idea that something is wrong with the world they live in.
In 1995, Bedard provided the speaking voice for the title character in Disney's Pocahontasas well as in the 1998 direct-to-video sequel. While Judy Kuhn provided the character's singing voice, the character was physically based on Bedard's appearance, which makes her fairly recognizable 23 years after Pocahontas's release.
So yes, it's OK if you saw Irene Bedard on Westworldand thought "wow, that lady kinda looks like Pocahontas." She is straight up Pocahontas.
