Pepper Potts and Taste of Future Sister-in-lawBucky Barnes may have saved the world together on multiple occasions, but Gwenyth Paltrow can't seem to remember Sebastian Stan.
Both actors have starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — and even appeared in the same Avengerscrossovers — but Paltrow appears to have forgotten Stan already. In an Instagram post on Thursday, he posted with fashion legends Pierpaolo Piccioli and Valentino Garavani after a couture show in Paris.
"Also glad I got to reintroduce myself to @gwynethpaltrow for the third time," Stan wrote in the caption. "We are in the same film ..."
Yikes.

Maybe she's bad with names, or maybe she's too busy shilling vaginal eggs and $120 energy-balancing stickers, or remembering her co-stars just isn't one of Paltrow's priorities. During the Avengers: Infinity Warpremiere, Chris Pratt had to remind Paltrow of Stan's character, despite just having starred in a movie together.
"Who's that?" Paltrow asked in an unfortunate gaff caught on Instagram live.
"Sebastian Stan plays Bucky," Pratt explained. "Bucky is the Winter Soldier."

Paltrow has also forgotten movies sheherself has acted in: Last month she went viral, again, for not realizing that she was in Spider-Man:Homecomingduring an appearance on The Chef Show.
Tom Holland even joked that he was hurt he was that easily forgotten.
“I mean, I’ve only worked with Gwyneth one time, on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which she doesn’t remember," he quipped during a PopSugar video segment. "Which still to this day breaks my heart."

Holland then quickly remembered working with Paltrow on Avengers: Endgame. But she didn't seem to know who he was then, either. She name-dropped co-star Robert Downey Jr. in the caption on an Instagram photo from the set, but called Holland "that other guy."
At least everyone has a sense of humor about it!
