Prepare to be Watch Take Turns Tasting With College Alumni Onlinemore confused about X's subscription tiers.
On Friday, X owner Elon Musk tweeted that the company plans to launch two new tiers of Premium subscription "soon."
"One is lower cost with all features, but no reduction in ads, and the other is more expensive, but has no ads," he wrote.

It's unclear whether these tiers will replace Twitter's current paid subscription tier, which used to be called Blue but is now just called Premium, or if they'll be added as a second and third option.
Earlier this month, Bloomberg reported that X is testing three new subscription tiers, called Basic, Standard, and Plus. According to reports, Basic users would still see ads in their For You page, Standard users would have half the amount of ads, and Plus users would have no ads at all.
And just days ago, X started charging an $1 annual fee in New Zealand and the Philippines, supposedly in order to combat spam.
