Who to look to when starting a new business?Anissa Kate the Widow XXX For millennials, it's Mark Zuckerberg.
Forty percent of millennials said the Facebook founder was their role model for entrepreneurship in a survey published Tuesday by the web hosting company GoDaddy.
GoDaddy surveyed 7,200 professionals worldwide in a project meant to determine generational differences in views of entrepreneurship. Of that number, 2,400 were 18 to 30 years old and classified as millennials.
The survey mainly asked respondents about entrepreneurship. Fifty percent of millennials said they plan to start a small business or become self-employed within the next 10 years, a higher percentage than for other generations.
But millennials really showed their unique views of entrepreneurship when it came to their business inspiration. Across generations, 39 percent of respondents said they looked to their parents as their role models in starting a business.
